Tombs of the nobles- Aswan Tombs of the nobles are carved in the best rock of the west bank of Aswan city. These tombs were built at the 6th dynasty and were carved out of the native rocks. The tombs are knows as Qubbet El-Hawa tombs are decorated with vivid murals depicting scenes of everyday life, hieroglyphic biographies and inscriptions showing the noblemen journeys into Africa
