The front nine features many water hazards with generous fairways and well protected greens. The back nine however has narrow rolling fairways and large waste areas. Royal Valley offers a choice of 4 tee decks to suit all caliber of golfers. The Nubian style Clubhouse stands majestically in the center of the course. The 18-hole par 72 golf course is designed by "Gary Player" , the most successful international golfer of his generation, who now devotes a great deal of his time to design world class golf courses, the latest of which is the cascades Golf Course. The course offers wide fairways and elevated greens are defined by the natural rolling sand hills and 77 strategically placed bunkers. Although it is a desert course, water plays an important role in challenging the golfer. A series of landscaped lagoons, flowing streams and the Red Sea coast have been combined by Gary Player to create obstacles to challenge the amateur as well as the professional. Holes 9 and 18 ending by a cascading water feature for which the course is named. The Clubhouse is located on the highest point of the Peninsula and offers spectacular panoramic sea views from all sides.

This magnificent 18-hole golf course, 72 par 6,300 meter long is designed by the American architect "Gene Bates". A driving range, putting green, chipping and bunker area complete the picture. The course is surrounded by lagoons and facing the thermal winds, perfect for ambitious golfers with accurate shots. The Clubhouse consists of two buildings and is the work of art of the well-known US architect "Michael Graves". The main building houses the pro golf shop and health club, sauna, massage, Jacuzzi and steambath. The neighboring building includes the a la carte restaurant and the bar, with a terrace overlooking the golfers in action.
