Famous Football Clubs
As a predominantly Muslim nation located in the Middle East, Egypt is not the ideal getaway for partying and drinking. The country has many nightclubs, casinos, discos, and bars, even if they don't define its traditional culture.
Many of the best nightclubs in Egypt are located in hotels. The best nightclubs in Cairo are in and around the Zamalek district. Also, in addition to Cairo, there are excellent nightclubs in the Red Sea area, especially at Dahab and Sharm El Sheikh.
In addition to nightclubs, there are many sports clubs in the country. When the heat gets too high, you can spend some time at the Gezira Club in Zamalek or the Seid Club in Mohandiseen. The Seid Club is otherwise known in English as the Shooting Club. These clubs can help you enjoy a cool dip at the swimming pool or the shade and comfort of the lush green gardens. Foreign visitors can enter these clubs by paying a small entry fee that allows them to enjoy all the clubs' facilities, including playing sports. The clubs include changing facilities and many famous and delicious restaurants.
In addition to sports and recreational clubs, there are some world-class nightclubs in Egypt where you can drink, dance, and listen to new tunes and Arabic music. Music varies from Dance and Trance to Hip Hop, Rap, Techno, Rock, and Pop. These clubs are usually located inside five-star hotels or in areas such as Mohandiseen and Zamalek. Some of the most famous nightclubs in Egypt include The Cairo Jazz Club (Mohandiseen), Purple (on a boat in Zamalek), Hard Rock Cafe (inside the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Garden City), and L'Obergine (pub and bar in Zamalek).
