Nile Dahabiya Tour package
Itinerary: From Esna to Aswan / Every Tuesday for 5 nights / 6 days
Sightseeing in LXR to visit the Valley of the kings, Hatshepsut, Memnon Colossi, Karnak' Temple, then transfer to Esna and join the Boat, the crew will welcome you on board and have your bags taken to your cabins. We will then set sail on your voyage to Aswan. Overnight close to El Hegz Island
Morning Sailing gently l en-route to Edfu; enjoy breakfast at your leisure, visit Edfu Temple by horse carriage, one of the largest and most intact of Egypt's monuments. Two beautiful granite statues of the Falcon God Horus flank the entrance. After your visit to the temple, either ride or walk through the bazaar, this is an extensive bazaar where you can barter for souvenirs, spices, and perfumes. We will then set sail for our private island "El Fouza" where we will disembark for dinner served to you on the edge of the Nile.
We set off for the relaxing journey to the temple of Gebel el Silsila, another of our less frequented destinations. You will be amazed as we tie up alongside the Speos of Hormheb. If possible dinner will be served in the grounds of the illuminated temple or on the upper deck of Boat whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere with music to match the mood.
Breakfast at your leisure as we sail on to Kom Ombo. Listen to the sounds of the water buffalo as they wade in the shallow water beside the banks of the Nile, the Donkeys as they go about their day to day business and the various bird life of the river. Here we visit the Greco Roman Temple at Kom Ombo. The temple building is totally symmetrical with two entrance's two halls and two sanctuaries dedicated to the Falcon God Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and the Crocodile God Sobek. Lunch will be served as we head for a small island where we will moor for the evening and enjoy dinner at this atmospheric location.
Enjoy the privilege and luxury of days gone by as we sail to Aswan, the gateway to Nubia and the Sudan. We should arrive around 10am, giving you plenty of time to visit some of the highlights such as the Temple of Philae and the Souk, and unfinished Obelisk You will have lots of time to prepare for our EGYPTIAN EVENING OF FUN, with Egyptian cuisine, Arabic Music. Dress in your bespoke Gallabeyah.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to the crew. Your luggage will be collected and will be ready for you to travel to your next destination

The cruises are between Luxor and Aswan and will call at all the tourist highlights, such as Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo as well as some of the more unusual smaller villages that the larger ships can't access like the Selsila Temple.

Full payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to your arrival in Ireland. AskAladdin Tours accept payment by Visa, MasterCard or Electronic Bank Transfer. If final payment is not received as scheduled your reservation will be automatically canceled and your deposit payment forfeited.
All documents relating to our Private Escorted Tour of Egypt will be sent to you via e-mail.
CHANGE / REVISION FEES:
There are no extra fees for name changes. If you require a room type change from double to twin or vice versa, there are no fees but it is subject to availability.
Changing a different tour date is possible 180 or more days before your holiday start date & if the new tour has availability. There are no administration fees but you would have to pay the difference if the new dates are more expensive. It is not possible to change the dates of your holiday within 180 days of the start date.
All cancellations must be advised in writing (by mail or e-mail) to AskAladdin prior to tour departure during normal business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT, Mondays through Fridays). Cancellations are subject to the following penalties:
60-31 days before tour start date – 50% of the total booking cost
30-15 days before tour start date – 80% of the total booking cost
Less than 15 days before tour start date – 100%
AskAladdin Tours do not sell Travel Insurance. We would recommend "Travel Insured" or another insurance company. AskAladdin however, requires that all passengers have travel insurance.

05:00 am: our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan, to start your overland 3 hours trip to Abu Simbel where you will be able to gaze in amazement at these phenomenal rock-cut temples built by Ramses II. During your 2 hour stay here you will be able to enter both temples; the Temple of Ramses and the Temple of Nefertari. Please note that photography is not allowed inside the 2 temples.
Once your visit here is over you will be driven back to Aswan.

We will pick you up from your hotel by air-conditioned bus to see the great Nubian Museum in Aswan Egypt which was opened in 1997.
This museum displays thousands of antiquities that would have been lost under the waters of Nasser Lake.
Moreover you will enjoy scenes of Nubian life demonstrated with a range of life-size displays, then you will move to sail by motorboat to the Nubian restaurant for a tasty Nubian food and then continue sailing to the Nubian Village which is situated after the first cataract of the Nile River in Egypt to discover the simple and natural life of the very kind and hospitable Nubian people. Then you will transfer back to the hotel in Aswan.
