We will pick you up from your hotel lobby and take you to Istanbul Airport for your Izmir flight. Upon arrival, we will meet and start our tour of Ephesus. The first stop on the tour is the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Although now in ruins, the temple was once a magnificent marble construction with sculpted columns' capitals and shafts. After this, we will visit the archaeological site of the famous Greco-Roman City of Ephesus. You will enter the city through the Magnesia Gate and walk downhill with your guide, passing by the Odeon Theater, the Celsius Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan, and the Great Theater. The latter, which can seat 24,000 people, is believed to be where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians.

During his visit to Ephesus, Paul delivered a sermon that has since been used for local spring festivals and concerts. The tour of the area includes a visit to The House of Virgin Mary, a revered site for both Muslims and Christians. This site is recognized by the Vatican as the final residence of Virgin Mary and provides a peaceful environment for prayer and meditation. The tour ends with a transfer to Izmir Airport for a flight to Istanbul, where the Turkey Insiders team will welcome and transfer you to your hotel.
