Itinerary

Picked up from Port Said Port besides the cruise exit door, with a sign bearing your name, is the Luxor and Aswan Travel Representative. That afternoon, you will board an air-conditioned car for the roughly three-hour ride to Cairo, where you will join a police convoy to arrive at your destination. Take time to see the Pyramids of Mykerinus, Chephren, and Cheops. Visit the Great Sphinx, a pharaoh's head with a lion's body created during Chephren's reign. The tour also includes visiting the Valley Temple, which is a part of the Chephren Pyramid. After having lunch at a neighborhood eatery, visit the well-known Egyptian Museum, which is home to the world's most extensive collection of Egyptian artifacts, including the exquisite King Tutankhamun treasures. After that, you'll spend a little time visiting an oriental store where you'll watch a demonstration of the Ancient Egyptians' method of creating paper from reeds. You will have a time limit to shop for mementos before you head back to the port.
