The Temple Of Derr
The temple of Derr was built during the time of King Ramses II and dedicated to the god Petah and god Amon as well as Ramses II, who was considered a deified person
The temple walls are decorated with scenes representing Ramses II's military campaigns against Nubia and scenes of offerings to the god of the temple. The temple was badly destroyed throughout the centuries and looted, and many parts of it have been reused for other buildings or were lost, but amazing details and places to explore still remain.
