Day 1- Luxor East Bank
Upon reaching Luxor's airport or train station, our team member will escort you to your Nile Cruise in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Please ensure to board before midday. Later in the afternoon, you will explore Luxor's East bank and the immense Karnak Temples Complex, the largest human-made structures ever constructed. The primary edifice is dedicated to god Amun Ra, as it was seen as god's earthly residence. The earliest parts of this structure can be traced back to the middle kingdom, but some evidence suggests that buildings here may be as old as the 3rd dynasty. Subsequently, you'll visit the Luxor Temple, a magnificent creation initiated by a king from the 12th dynasty and completed by the renowned King Ramses II. Nestled in the heart of ancient Thebes, it too was dedicated to the chief deity, Amun Re. After a day full of discoveries, you'll return to your ship for some relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Egyptian performance presented by the crew. A delightful dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in Luxor.
Meals Day 2- Luxor West Bank-sail to Edfu
Commence your day with breakfast aboard the Nile cruise. Post this, you'll embark on an enchanting journey through Thebes, the holy land, by delving into the west bank of Luxor. This includes a visit to the Valley of the Kings, recognized as the burial ground for the rulers and monarchs of ancient Egypt, and where our Pharaohs found their eternal rest. Subsequent to this, you'll make your way to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This temple is renowned as an extraordinary example of Ancient Egyptian Architecture for its unique design carved entirely into the mountainside. Concluding the tour, you'll get to see the Colossi of Memnon, attributed to King Amenhotep III. Following this excursion, you'll return to your vessel for lunch. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Culminate your day with dinner and an overnight stay on the cruise.
Meals Day 3- Edfu-Kom ombo-sail to Aswan
Begin your morning with breakfast aboard your Nile cruise. Your guide will then lead you on an intriguing expedition to a realm of mysteries. Today's escorted tour commences with a visit to one of Egypt's most awe-inspiring temples, the Edfu's Temple of Horus, renowned for being among the best-preserved temples in the country. Following this exploration, you will return to your ship where lunch will be served as we navigate towards Kom Ombo city.
In the afternoon, your journey continues with a visit to the Kom Ombo Temple, a site once dedicated to the worship of the gods Sobek and Haroeris. After this cultural exploration, return to your ship to relish your lunch onboard.
Meals Day 4- Aswan City Guide
Enjoy your morning meal as you cruise along the Nile. Today, your guide will lead you on an intriguing journey into a world of enigma. The day's guided tour commences with a visit to one of Egypt's most magnificent temples, the Horus Temple in Edfu, renowned for being one of the best-preserved temples in the country. Following this, you'll return to your vessel, where lunch will be prepared as we navigate towards Kom Ombo city.
In the afternoon, you'll continue your exploration at the Kom Ombo Temple, a place of worship for the two deities Sobek & Haroeris for a period. Afterward, return to your ship and get ready for lunch.
As you relax on the sun deck, take in the unique landscapes of the mighty River Nile. It was along these banks that the ancient Egyptian civilization was born and thrived.
As we sail towards Aswan city, your dinner will be served on board. Arriving late in the evening, we'll dock in Aswan for an overnight stay.
Meals Day 5- Disembarkation from curises
After you've enjoyed your morning meal, our representative will escort you to the Aswan airport or station for your flight to Cairo (Breakfast included). **
Optional Tour: There's a chance to embark on an adventure to the temples at Abu Simbel, either via private coach or domestic flight. Our fluent English-speaking guide in Aswan will arrange a private, air-conditioned van to transport you to Abu Simbel, situated south of Aswan on the Nile's western bank, 180 miles below the First Cataract in the region of ancient Nubia. This location, referred to as Meha in antiquity, was first recorded in Egypt's 18th Dynasty when both Ay and Horemheb commissioned the carving of sacred chapels into the southern hillsides. Once you arrive, you'll explore the majestic Abu Simbel Temples, constructed by the renowned Pharaoh Ramses II. The largest temple, known as the Great temple, was dedicated to the eminent deity Rahorakhty by Ramesses II. Meanwhile, the smaller temple was dedicated to King Ramesses II himself and his captivating wife, the queen.
