The sightseeing includes The High Dam, a structure established by the Egyptian leader Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD as a safeguard against the Nile flood. A motorboat ride on the Nile River will lead you to Agilika Island, the location of the Temple of Philae. Erected during the Gaeco-Roman era, this temple was devoted to the goddess Isis (mother of the god Horus). You will also visit a striking Aswan attraction, The Unfinished Obelisk, hewn from red granite and dedicated to the deity Amun Ra. After completing your day's exploration, you will return to your ship where lunch awaits. Afternoon tea will also be served onboard. Your night is free for leisure activities.
