Day 1- Luxor East Bank
Upon landing at Luxor's transportation hub, our liaison will escort you to your Nile voyage via a personal air-conditioned vehicle. You must be on board before noon. In the afternoon, you will explore the eastern bank of Luxor, where you'll find the Karnak Temple Complex, the most massive structure ever erected in human history. The main edifice is dedicated to the deity Amun Ra as it was believed to be his terrestrial residence. The earliest parts of this structure can be traced back to the mid-kingdom era, although some records suggest the existence of even older structures dating back to the 3rd dynasty.
in the future, your journey will take you to the Luxor Temple, a magnificent structure constructed by a ruler of the 12th dynasty and completed by the renowned King Ramses II. This temple was situated in the epicenter of ancient Thebes and, much like Karnak was a tribute to the primary deity Amun Re. Once your daytime exploration concludes, you'll be escorted back to your vessel for rest and recuperation. As the evening descends, an Egyptian folkloric performance will be presented by the staff. Dinner will be provided and you will spend the night in Luxor. (L-D)
