Day 1- Luxor East Bank
Upon reaching Luxor via the airport or train station, our liaison will facilitate your transfer to your Nile Cruise in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Boarding should be completed by noon. During the afternoon, you will explore the eastern bank of Luxor, which includes the Karnak Temples Complex. These structures hold the record as the largest ever constructed by humans. The main edifice is dedicated to the god Amun Ra, revered as the earthly dwelling place of the deity. The earliest part of this structure harks back to the middle kingdom era, but some elements hint at its origins dating as far back as the 3rd dynasty. Subsequently, you'll visit the Luxor Temple, erected initially by a ruler of the 12th dynasty and finished by the renowned King Ramses II. This temple was situated in the center of ancient Thebes and was also consecrated to Amun Re, the chief deity. After completing your day's exploration, you will be transported back to your ship for relaxation and rejuvenation. In the evening, an Egyptian folk show will be performed by the crew. Dinner will be served and overnight stay in Luxor is arranged. Meals Day 2- Luxor West Bank
your day begins with breakfast aboard your Nile cruise. Following this, prepare for an enchanting journey through the sacred lands of Thebes, beginning with the exploration of Luxor's west bank, inclusive of the Valley of the Kings. This valley is highly regarded as the royal burial ground for the rulers and kings of ancient Egypt, including our esteemed Pharaohs. Your tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. Regarded as one of the most phenomenal examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, this temple stands out for being entirely carved into a mountain. Concluding your tour, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, a monument attributed to King Amenhotep III. Post this, you will return to your cruise ship for lunch. The afternoon is yours to spend at your leisure. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on the cruise.
Meals Day 3- Edfu-Komombo-Sail to Aswan
Start your day with breakfast on your Nile cruise, before embarking on a journey of discovery with your guide. The day's exploration begins with a visit to one of Egypt's most spectacular temples, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned for its remarkable preservation. Following that, you will return to your cruise ship for lunch, as we set sail for the city of Kom Ombo.
In the afternoon, you will continue your exploration at the Temple of Kom Ombo, a place where the dual gods Sobek and Haroeris were once venerated. Afterward, return to your ship and indulge in a scrumptious lunch.
Relax and soak up the sun on the deck, as you gaze upon the mesmerizing landscape of the mighty Nile River. This river's banks have been the cradle and growth point of ancient Egyptian civilization.
As we sail towards Aswan, dinner will be served on board. Arriving late in the evening, you will spend the night in Aswan.
Meals Day 4- Aswan City Tower
Your shipboard breakfast awaits. Later, join your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide to explore the magnificent city of Aswan, encompassing The High Dam. This impressive structure was constructed by Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD as a shield against the Nile floods. Subsequently, you'll embark on a motorboat voyage on the majestic Nile River, leading to Agilika Island. Here, you can marvel at the Temple of Philae, a testament to the Gaeco-Roman era and a monument to goddess Isis (mother of god Horus). Concluding your day's exploration, you'll tour a remarkable Aswan attraction - The Unfinished Obelisk, a red granite marvel dedicated to god Amun Ra. Post this enriching tour, return to the comfort of your ship where lunch awaits. Afternoon tea will also be served on board. Enjoy a leisurely evening followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Aswan.
Meals Day 5- Disembarkation From cruise
After enjoying your breakfast, our representative will escort you to the Aswan airport or station for your flight to Cairo (Breakfast) **
Optional Tour: Venture to the temples of Abu Simble, either via private coach or domestic flight. Our English-speaking guide in Aswan will arrange your private air-conditioned transport to Abu Simbel, located south of Aswan on the Nile's western bank, 180 miles south of the First Cataract in the ancient region of Nubia. The site, known as Meha in antiquity, was first recorded in the 18th Dynasty when Ay and Horemheb carved rock chapels into the southern hills. Upon reaching, you'll tour the Abu Simbel Temples, constructed by the famed King Ramses II. The largest temple, known as the Great Temple, was erected by Ramesses II and dedicated to the revered god Rahorakhty. The smaller temple was dedicated to King Ramesses II himself and his stunning wife, Queen Nefertari. After completing your day trip, you'll return to Aswan. Arrive at Aswan and transfer via private air-conditioned vehicle to your selected hotel for check-in, rest and refreshment, or proceed to Aswan airport for your departure.
