Highlights of Dubai and Abu Dhabi

When you arrive in the United Arab Emirates, you can spend the day at leisure in this intriguing city after being transferred from the Dubai airport to your hotel for check-in.

After breakfast, you'll begin your exploration of Dubai with a visit to the magnificent twin minaret mosque and the Jumeirah Mosque, an eye-catching modern Islamic structure. The Palastquater 'Zabeel' and the Skyline at the Dubai Creek will be passed as you walk through Bastakiya to see the wind tower homes of old traders. After a tour of the Dubai Museum, you will board an 'abra' (water taxi) to go to the Spice Market and Gold Market. It is located in the 180-year-old Al Fahidi Fort.

After breakfast, set off for the emirate of Sharjah, often regarded as the cultural heart of the Middle East. Your tour begins at the cultural roundabout, before heading to the Desert Natural History Museum. Walk down the Corniche to the Al Majara Souk, then venture into the old quarter to see the Al Naboodah House and Al Arsa Souk. Finish your tour at the Central Souk, where you'll find carpets, antiques, and curiosities galore. This afternoon, you can drive up and down the golden yellow dunes in 4x4s for pure enjoyment. After the barbeque, you can stroll through the desert wilderness and dine on an authentic Arabian barbeque. Belly dancing will be performed by professional artists after dinner. Sandboarding and henna painting are also available. Return to Dubai.

You can spend the morning at your own pace, either relaxing or exploring Dubai, or take a relaxing evening dhow boat trip down the Dubai Creek, complete with music, belly dancers, and a sumptuous buffet dinner.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your Abu Dhabi hotel and head out to see the world's largest manmade seaport. Make sure to stop for photos at the former home of UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan and Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the world's third-largest mosque. The tour will bring you to Al Bateen, where the Royal Family's palaces are located. Take a break at the world-renowned Marina Mall before returning to your hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Today, you can do whatever you want after breakfast. You can spend the whole day at the beach, take an optional tour of Ferrari World, visit the Falcon Hospital, or do whatever you'd like.

Dubai offers excellent shopping opportunities, or you can explore the city at your pleasure.
