Welcome to Cairo! Your tour begins when you are greeted by our representative who will assist you through immigration and customs formalities. After you have collected your luggage he will then take you, in our deluxe vehicle, to your Cairo hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a full day tour. In the morning you will be taken to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx: the most famous monuments of not only ancient Egypt but of the entire ancient world! These massive stone structures were built around 4,500 years ago on a rocky desert plateau close to the Nile. After the visit, you will be driven to the Papyrus Institute where you will see how the ancient Egyptians made this forerunner to today's paper; have a go at making it yourself; and get the opportunity to look at some fantastic examples of papyrus art, with no obligation to buy. After lunch, at a local restaurant, you will be driven to Sakkara to see the very first pyramid ever built; the Step Pyramid of Djoser. You will also get the chance to see some fantastic mastabas.
It is said that Egypt is full of Pyramids and after breakfast, you will get the opportunity to visit 2 more of them. You will be taken, in an air-conditioned vehicle, to Dashur where you will see the two pyramids built by the Pharaoh Snefru. Not only will you be able to look at the Red Pyramid, the worlds first true pyramid, you will also have the opportunity to go pyramids inside it and gaze at the phenomenal corbelled ceilings in the 3 separate rooms. Next, you will be able to stare at the wonder of the "Bent Pyramid". After this day of exploring Old Kingdom pyramids, you will be driven back to your hotel.
After breakfast you will have a full day to yourself, though a trip to Abu Simbel is an option. In the afternoon you will check-out of your hotel and our representative will transfer you to your cruise boat: your floating hotel for your next 3 days. After lunch you will be driven to see the High Dam, the worlds largest rock filled dam, and then a short sail to the Temple of Philae, moved to the island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location. It is then back to Aswan to your hotel for dinner.
After breakfast you will have a full day to yourself, though a trip to Abu Simbel is an option. In the afternoon you will check-out of your hotel and our representative will transfer you to your cruise boat: your floating hotel for your next 3 days.
;You may choose to fly to Abu Simbel to see these marvellous temples, which were originally carved out of a rocky mountainside by Ramses II. You can either go by flight: it costs $285 per person all inclusive(flight duration 45 minutes each flight leg), or by coach: Costs about $150 per person all inclusive trip.
A new day and your first breakfast on board as the boat sails majestically towards Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. After the visit you will be taken back to the boat for your lunch while it sails onward to Edfu, home of the best preserved temple in Egypt: the Temple of Horus. After your visit to this superb temple you will be taken back to the boat in plenty of time before it departs Edfu and sets sail for Esna. Once you reach Esna you will watch as it sails through the Esna locks. Once through the locks the boat continues on its course towards Luxor, which it will reach after you have had dinner.
An early breakfast and then it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor: the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings; the tombs of princes in the Valley of the Queens; the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri finishing with the immense Colossi of Memnon.
After breakfast you will check-out from the cruise and our representative will transfer you to your Luxor hotel. After check-in you will visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Once your visit to these ancient Theban Temples is completed you return to your hotel for dinner.
After breakfast, you will find yourself with a full day with nothing to do except having fun. You may decide to stay by the pool, go shopping in the local bazaars, or opt for one of our optional trips:
Optional Trip 1: You may choose to visit the great temple of Dendera, dedicated to the goddess Hathor.
Optional Trip 2: You may choose to return to the West Bank to visit: the Tombs of the Nobles, which have some fantastic reliefs and hieroglyphs; and the temple of Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramses III.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Luxor airport for the flight back to Cairo (flight duration is about 45 minutes). Once there our representative will meet you and assist you with your luggage before transferring you to your hotel for check-in. You will have the rest of the day in Cairo to do as you choose.
After breakfast you will be taken to the Egyptian Museum: gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden death mask; stare upon the mummies of some of Egypt's ancient pharaohs (optional visit)
After lunch you will be taken on a tour of Cairo famous Churches, including the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, 2 churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo's oldest structures; and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where, it is said, the Holy Family took shelter in a cave, with the church being erected her to commemorate this. This whole area is a world famous destination for Pilgrims. Before being driven back to your hotel you will have the opportunity to visit the old market of Cairo (Khan El-Khalili) to test your haggling skills.
Your final day starts with breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. You will then be transferred to the airport for your final departure.

Because all of our packages are all privately arranged whereas you will get a private tour with private guide and private transportation, there is No fixed start or finishing dates, you can do it at your own schedule. If we have to, we will simply alter the itinerary so that it fits with the cruise embarkation, ensuring that no planned visits are missed, just rescheduled somewhere else. This allows you to get the best available flights, which is a huge asset if you are traveling on a budget. Obviously, this is something that companies who only offer large group visits cannot offer.

Full payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to your arrival in Ireland. AskAladdin Tours accept payment by Visa, MasterCard or Electronic Bank Transfer. If final payment is not received as scheduled your reservation will be automatically canceled and your deposit payment forfeited.

CHANGE / REVISION FEES:
There are no extra fees for name changes. If you require a room type change from double to twin or vice versa, there are no fees but it is subject to availability.
Changing a different tour date is possible 180 or more days before your holiday start date & if the new tour has availability. There are no administration fees but you would have to pay the difference if the new dates are more expensive. It is not possible to change the dates of your holiday within 180 days of the start date.
All cancellations must be advised in writing (by mail or e-mail) to AskAladdin prior to tour departure during normal business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT, Mondays through Fridays). Cancellations are subject to the following penalties:
60-31 days before tour start date – 50% of the total booking cost
30-15 days before tour start date – 80% of the total booking cost
Less than 15 days before tour start date – 100%
AskAladdin Tours do not sell Travel Insurance. We would recommend "Travel Insured" or another insurance company. AskAladdin however, requires that all passengers have travel insurance.

08:00 am, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, drive to Alexandria. Your visit to this beautiful city, originally built by Alexander the Great, includes a trip into the catacombs (Kom el Shoqafa), where the early Christians were buried; the Roman Amphitheatre, which every town in the ancient Roman Empire had; the Alexandria National Museum, built in a former palace and now houses almost 2000 artefacts which tell the story of the city, including the recent finds from the sunken part of the city; and finally a visit to the Montazah Gardens, a private park where world leaders often meet, 150 acres of numerous trees, palms, and flowers which overlook many bays and beaches.
Lunch will be supplied at a local restaurant in the middle of this exciting tour, and at the end of the day you will have a tired, but fulfilled, drive back to Cairo.
